2025 marks the bicentenary of the birth of Johann Strauss, the Waltz King. Our programme celebrates his life and legacy as we follow the stream of music across Europe to Victorian England with Gilbert and Sullivan and finally to the legacy of Strauss in America with Gershwin, Porter and Kern.
